I recall a few years ago somebody was posting that if you have some number of impact players, you can start to dominate a game. Maybe it was 6? This makes sense. In basketball, it is arguably only 1. If you have 1 guy that can dominate his guy, it allows the team to be very good. It stands to reason in football with 22 positions plus specials, it is more.

So the question is how many true impact players does RU have this year? Guys that can dominate their guys. My Clemson buddy was telling me that M. Alexander (remember him?) is considered the best DB in the country now and teams won't even throw his way. That is an impact player.

OFFENSE
Caroo is one. He needs to be double teamed.

James may be another but to be honest I don't feel like we have seen him enough times vs elite defenses although he did create yards vs PSU which is impressive.

Not sure there is anybody else on O although we can only project things for now. Is Lumpkin THAT good that they will have to bring extra guys on his side? If Grant's hands get better, might he post that type of threat? Not sure he is THAT fast to be a terror to teams.

DEFENSE

Hamilton seems to have this status now.

Turay may prove out.

Anybody else that would seem to be a complete terror? Longa if he improves from last year? Mera in his last year?
