Their 2019 schedule has us going down there, but for 2018 their schedule lists them playing at home vs FIU when they're supposed to be thataway to Piscataway.

2018 date is still TBD. The problem is Miami decided to play LSU in Cowboys Stadium the first week for the kickoff classic game, so now they're September schedule is full, except Sept. 8 when we already have OSU on the schedule on that date. Not good for us since that basically means we have to play them on October 27, which was our only Bye in the middle of the conference schedule. We have a game every week from then to the conf. championship games. But the problem in that is then the ACC still hasn't come out with their schedule (NFL stadiums of Miami & Pitt so they can't release the schedule too early). So I'm not sure if the ACC will make their schedules around us having that game with the U that week in the heart of conference schedule, or if the teams (at RU would be guaranteed to) would give up their bye in the middle of the conference games. So I could see it moved to another year (2022 at the earliest because we have UCLA in '19 and '20). So we'll have to see.

The series was agreed upon before the 9 game B1G schedule was approved. Maybe before RU even joined. I doubt either school would agree to a late October game. My guess is either Miami is able to move the FIU game or the series is cancelled. If I'm RU I'm not going to agree to wait 4 years for the home game. Too much can happen between.

Meh keep the game. Can't we maybe accept cash from Miami in lieu of the home date? I realize that technically makes us a bought game but I'm not self conscious about such things anymore. Playing in FL is good for us.

You don't want to play them in the middle of the season. Not being in East division, I guess they would cancel the home and home.

That still doesn't fill the slot. That would mean RU needs 2 home games in '18. Not a good situation this late.

Exactly. Home and home within a few years or CANCEL.
