With both injuries and suspensions and lack luster performances, are we seeing a swansong ending to the regular season?
The games that are left are filled with teams playing just around .500 (with the exception of Wisconsin at 2-10) and it would seem we should be in pretty good shape against all of them. But, it seems like the air is coming out of the balloon.
Do we recover and go on a tear or what???

Hopefully they get over their funk/shock and wake up. A nice talk from CVS and coaches would help(I hope). Would be a dam shame at this part of the year to throw it all in.

All our loses came on nights when CC was either not in the lineup or had an "off night". Gotta get some more mojo from our guards?

All you have to do is watch this team and their is no fire, leadership, passion or confidence on this team. They give up with no punch back. They can’t dhoot and if a team zoned them the game is over before it starts.

rtuedl sorry to say not going to win again this season. Something going on in the locker room, 2 years in a row. Seems they do not want to play for CVS anymore.

I think this is still an NCAA tournament team. They'll get it straightened out.

The fans probably took too from the Maryland win, honestly. That probably doesn't sound good coming from me, but I think it's why overly-optimistic expectations are now being dashed. But the team is good. I fully expect to see them in the NCAA bracket.

Fade is not the word for this team right now - I would go with Free Fallin'... by Tom Petty instead.

Is this a fact or just speculation?
I suspect it is speculation - and I'm really not sure about the "don't want to play for CVS" comment, but I suppose that there is a good possibility that some sort of locker room issues are going on. We will probably never hear of them, nor should we need to.

Right now, I don't see it happening. To lose the way we lost last night on our home floor by 20 to a very mediocre OSU team is a terrible sign of things to come. Prior to the Maryland game, we had not lost at home in two years. As C Viv stated in her post press conference the entire team has lost complete confidence in their game. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't win another game the rest of the season.

Just my personal opinion, but I don't believe that the problem is they don't want to play for CVS anymore. I think there probably are some issues that are affecting team chemistry right now, but what I thought was the strength of this team earlier in the season - the fact that there wasn't one go to player like Tyler or Cappie so everyone had to try to contribute on the offensive end - now seems to be their weakness as the majority of the players are in a shooting slump. I don't know that any of these players have the ability to put the rest of the team on their back and take over a game. I think Arella and Carey are trying to do that, but the extra responsibility is a little too much for them. Somebody needs to step up and take on the leadership role ASAP.

There is no leadership. Period! This is NOT an NCAA team. Far from it. If we do get invited it will be 1 and done. CVS is dead right. There is zero confidence on this team. You can see it in their eyes and body language. As they continue to struggle it will only get worse sadly. As Brooklyn Dodger fans would say,” Wait till next year”.

Will say this again , like I said before season even started.
No NCAA this season, next year needs a change at the top.
I'll support CVS to come back for next season until the day I find out this season isn't good enough for an invite and won't accept they deserved to go like I did last year.
