And will this have any impact on future expansion? If Texas decides to move, if Patterson is still in charge, given his love affair for Scott and the Pac-12, would that be considered the lead spot for them (which isn't that surprising)?

On the flipside, Patterson seems to be burning through bridges at UT at a record pace. This guy has long been described as an egomaniacal, douchebag.

UT-Austin makes a ton of revenue but their expenses are astonomical so their profit is actually small...people tend to fixate on revenue when they should be focusing on the largest possible diff between revenue and expenses!

Their AD is a jackass...it's become
quite entertaining reading about his alienation of big money donors...and his focus to take their brand to places

Travel is another area Rutgers needs to step up its game in. There are a number of lacrosse teams that are traveling charter these days that I am aware of. I bet that other sports at those schools are too.
