It’s time for Coach P to act like his old coach and work the refs hard

Pikiell needs to get in the press room and lay into the refs. What piss poor, one-sided officiating. We can't stand for this $hit any longer.

it's a fine line, but I agree Shack. it's gotten to the point where these refs are impacting the outcome...I feel like we need to win a couple more B1G games before he does, but there is no doubt he needs to push for more respect.

it was ridiculous tonight

He needs to speak with his mentor Calhoun about the appropriate approach. Calhoun worked them as good as anyone. Need to get a couple of signature wins before the refs are going to start giving you the close calls particularly on the road.

As I said in another thread: unfortunately he's only a 2nd year HC in the conference. Gotta play this right. Sucks, for sure, but can't go balls-to-the-wall just yet IMHO

Not a good idea, usually backfires with the exception of a handful of coaches and we know who they are.

What he could do is meet with officials and show them video of situations that he thought should resulted in a foul being called on the other team.

Athletic Department should get involved too.

Do it privately so RU isn't showing up officials but vigorously get the point across in the process.

For clarity

Working the officials hard doesn’t have to mean being a jerk like Rick pitino

But it means always conversing with the refs and having their respect to owe you an ear when things are being called balanced to explain officials

Personally, I think the refs should point blank allowed not be alllowed to talk to the officials ...(and vise versus), but since it happens, we need start this process. Respect from the officials doesn’t happen over night
