Its becoming impossible to watch this sport

I feel like I am watching a free throw shooting contest. It seems like every possession there is a whistle, stopping the action. This needs to be fixed.

I agree, lots of fouls. It would be interesting to see the year by year stats on total fouls and fouls per game called. It may be time to start letting these guys play without all the little touch fouls.

I have been saying this the whole tournament. Unreal how many fouls have been called. And if there's been a while without one I usually can tell on a possession that it's about time and they do. I also have felt the same thing about 3-pointers! It's crazy how a lot of teams have simply made this their game plan. I wonder if the 3-pt line just went away what basketball would be like and if the top teams would still be as dominant as they are now.

Personally I don't like it that guys get to shoot free throws when they get fouled on a defensive rebound. It's so moronic that a team gets to shoot free throws on a loose ball over the back foul just because they are in the bonus. That would eliminate some of the free throws

The 3 point shot has added excitement to the game....comebacks are possible and exciting.....on the other hand, touch fouls slow down the game and add nothing for the fans.

The 3 point is a skill that all teams and players can nurture.

It is still a sport. The NBA has become entertainment. The players and their new viewpoints are killing the game

If you just "let them play" and don't call it tight it will be just a wrestling match out there. I want to see speed, movement, and skill not a bunch of muscle-bound guys knocking into each other or mugging each other. Players need to adapt and learn how to play without fouling. Coaches too.

I'd like to see them do something about the constant stoppages to check a call on the monitor. Maybe do like in football and give the coaches a couple of challenges or lose a timeout. Let the refs make the calls and accept that there will be some bad ones (I know, I know, there have been some bad ones this tourney).

I'm with you there. Totally interrupts the flow of the game at the end. It's a crutch for the officials now in the last two minutes and rarely gets overturned because there are 3 guys watching closely.

I would like 4 Quarters as opposed to 20 minute Halves and 5 team fouls per Quarter and wipe it clean at the beginning of each Quarter.

I hate the 30 second shot clock! It is ruining the game.

Stuff happening off the ball becomes less important. Too many possessions ending with the shot clock running down which then relies on individual effort.

Possessions should be like football drives where you work to get a good shot and with every reverse you get closer to the red zone.

Between the one and dones, finanicial arms races, and 30 second shot clock the college game is really losing it's luster.

Did anyone see the end of the UCF/ILL STATE game last night. Two horrendous calls in the last 5 seconds to end the game. UCF won by hitting two in a double bonus which followed Ill St hitting two in a double bonus after a questionable call.

So many stops to reset the clock to " x " amount of seconds besides the foul calls and subs before and after a foul shot.

I'm afraid that in an effort to add more "action" and "increase scoring" they'll actually get around to lowering the men's shot clock to 24 which would be horrible. I'm not enough of a dinosaur that I think they need to go back to no shot clock but I personally was fine with the 35 second clock and the last thing I want is for the college game to try and be more like the NBA. 24 second shot clock, quarters, eliminating the one and one, etc. I also hate that they eliminated the 5 second call for "closely guarded". That is really a big change that no one talks about although they did reinstate the 5 second call for closely guarded/not dribbling with zero fanfare.
