N.J.com has changed course already attempting to get the triumpherant back in the good graces of Rutgers sports...now we have 3 or 4 other bloggers covering the court appearances ...

Most coaches will make sure that their teams do not buy into media crap since they all have to deal with them too. A lot of coaches have little respect/patience with reporters trying to stir pots.
If I were a coach, I would tell my team to expect a team that is pissed off that their season is being hijacked by the media and looking to take it out on somebody.

but, doesn't matter - the fact is SL has still proven to be horrible to RU sports again and again........ nothing they do helps.

Perhaps he means that NJ.com has assigned followup coverage of the developing "scandal" at RU to non-sports staff.
With that, Politi, Duggan, Sergeant may now focus on actual sports coverage and perhaps earn back the trust of RU athletics and readers, perhaps even advertisers. OK. "Trust" is too strong a word. Substitute "tolerance."
The change is smart for the business of NJ.com, as their sports staff had taken an increasingly adversarial role vs RU athletics. And fallout from that was mounting.
I believe his time the damage is done...KF might tolerate the three stooges right now because he has too...everything is ongoing.....but as the dust settles......primarily on the players in the fight......there will be less and less access for the media and mostly them
