We lost the game in the trenches exactly like we did last week

Our heralded dine was manhandled by one of the worst P5 Olines in the country and our Oline opened no running lanes for "our babies"... there is absolutely nothing Rettig could have done to change the game so those who need to blame someone feel free to look at our coordinators and dline coach who I will give a pass to because he was impressive last year but our strength now looks like a weakness

For his first start in a hostile environment facing a good defense and not having an Oline to protect him Laviano played as good as could be expected and the loss is absolutely not on him. I feel that he is another Chas Dodd type of QB but a bit taller and a bit less of an arm...was impressed that in just one week he has learned to throw balls away and only had one awful throw the whole nite

This will be a long season but I hope our young team can grow and lets see how our lines can improve throughout the year.
