Can anyone confirm that he will be eligible to Grad transfer next spring?

I'm sure that has everything to do with actually graduating first. If so, then I would think yes. But are we worried about that now?

Similar to Nigel Johnson, Sit one, Play one, Transfer to a contender. I hope that’s not the case but you have to wonder considering the logjam at guard we will have

Best players play.

I do not like college basketball being such a business at the extent of the players, but at this point, that's what it is.

In Nigel's case, the coach who recruited him to come was no longer the coach when he actually played. So that likely factored in.

Trust me I hope Jacob Young is a star for us and has a key role in taking us back to the tourney. But I just meant strictly based on eligibility, it’s a possibility, same as Peter Kiss after next season. We’re going to have so many upperclassmen guards looking for minutes that season.

With any player far from home, anything is possible with a player's 5th year, but he has already been on a NCAA caliber program his 1st 2 years and had a starting caliber role at Texas.

Young has a brother in the NBA and a roster of underclassmen who can benefit from him being here. Obviously things change but unless he's just beaten out by better players, i don't see a scenario where Young leaves after just 1 year on the floor at RU.
