Tripp actually didn't play much at Lincoln. He transferred in after his sophomore year. His junior year he played half a season before his season ended and he didn't play as senior.

NY ruled he was too old. I think he was 19. Whitehead played at Lincoln when he was 19. He is 21 now and is only a soph. I know some states let you play at 19 if you turn 19 after the school year starts or if they turn 19 after the start of a season, like winter or spring. Other states have a rule that you become ineligible the day you turn 19. Perhaps Whitehead turned 19 after the basketball season started and maybe Tripp turned 19 before the B-Ball season started. This is only a guess on my part.
