Janarion Grant in the Spread = Breakout season

To be sure if our offense is going to do anything next year it is going to have to take the fastest guy it has and find ways to get the ball to him a lot, even when opposing teams know it since I think unfortunately we are not as deep at this position as we have been. It may not be possible to torch opposing defenses by spreading the ball around to other WRs.

based on Ash's overall coaching materials and defensive philosophy, i expect him to recruit a lot of speed like GS.

Completely agree with OP. Under the Fridge he just seemed to get more touches. Came up huge last year on third downs quite a few times.

The last two games....Grant was given some opportunities to get the ball in Space and guess what happened?

Runs vs Army: Grant, Janarion 2 for 40 yards
Receive vs. Army: Grant, Janarion 3 for 31 yards

Receiving vs. Maryland: Grant, Janarion 4 for 56 yards

He needs to be able to hold onto the ball first. He's been getting better at that each season.

I think a guy like jawuan harris or an incoming freshman (Mack or Wright) will have a shot to get reps. I heard these guys are fast
