Jaohne Duggan All State DL pick in Pa. :

Duggan is a one man wrecking crew. Congrats to him.

WHAT ABOUT CARSON LANDIS?

Landis was a special teams luxury for the Green Hornets. The Lafayette commit booted a school-record nine field goals (9 for 12, including four from 41-48 yards) and broke another school record with a 48-yard field goal. He converted 51 of 56 PATs while kicking 37 touchbacks for the EPC South champs.

I just don't get it, 2x all state and yet only a two star. 14 sacks and 20 tfl, doesn't that at least get you a third star. This kid is a football player to the core.

I'm guessing he's a 2 * because didn't receive an offer from the 3 D1 programs in PA and he didn't attend any Rivals events. Jordan Hill was a 2* prospect also. Sometimes Rivals gets it wrong

Quote from his coach on his selection.

"I know the commitment and the time he dedicates. It speaks volumes for him to be honored again by the state of Pennsylvania for being one of the better defensive ends in our state. It really is the ideal situation when you have a kid who is not just one of your best players but also a fantastic kid in the classroom, a fantastic kid in the community, never has been in trouble. He's just a positive role model when it comes to doing things the right way and handling yourself with class."

he said he shut down his recruitment as soon as he committed here. He said he owed that to Rutgers for being the first to believe in him.
That's a really tough league he plays in and those are some eye popping stats for a 2 star. Quite a few teams were showing interest in him. Could be a case of him showing loyalty to RU and telling them thanks for the offer, but no thanks. Not all kids like to play the recruiting game and crave attention.

Yep, same league Saquon Barkley played in. What could have been...

In 1999, I went to a Bethlehem Catholic / Central Bucks West state playoff football game at Lehigh's Goodman Stadium. Amazing crowd - I would guess somewhere between 12K and 15K - and an amazingly well-coached and well-played, intense, hard-hitting game. Great stuff. If Duggan is from this area, they take their high school football seriously.

Yes we do

Saquan lacked his loyal character...couldn't refuse the pads???Fuhgettabouthim...Go Jahone..I think that's close?

Saquan made the best decision for himself and his family. RU was a mess, Flood was a mess, it would've been stupid to come here at that time. He had Heisman consideration, he'll be drafted in the first 3 rounds and will play in the NFL. If he came to Rutgers, he would probably split carries with Hicks and Martin and get stuffed in the backfield on read options.

True enough.

PSU didn't think him good.enough until we had him....after missing on top targets they settled on him...as a proud native Jersey guy and NY transplant and Marine I just can't understand the lack of value to the word "committed"...and I joined the Corps as a 16 yr old and entered on my 17th birthday...honor is something you have or you don't!! If you're good enough the NFL knows where ever you are...we put enough in the league over the last decades that the... excuse of PSU is a better option don't wash...so Franklin finally had a good yr? Whoopty dooo..I'm not buying...honor trumps a school know for enabling pedos...goodd choice Saquan...you could have done it where you committed...right here...thanks for nothing...MERRY CHRISTMAS
