Guy was a hot name for a couple of years, but got passed over at Wisconsin. He's a pretty damn good coach and he'll be a HC at some point in his career. A few years ago, this job might have been beneath him, but things change. This is the perfect type of guy for this position as he can "own" that side of ball like Joe Harasymiak did. And he could learn a thing or two from Schiano about how to run a program en route to his HC gig, perhaps even at Wisconsin in two years when Fickell, well... fickles out.
Schiano ought to kick the tires on this.
