Proving yet again, that kids want access to Elite Coaching. And yes, they're willing to pay out of their own pocket for this access. Three things are certain with St. Augustine Kids. 1. They will be ready for the rigor of college academia. 2. at worse, he'll be a great special teams player. 3. He'll graduate.
So you have proof that he would not have walked on if Flood was still here?
Nose tackle from a few years back was a very good one (and I feel so stupid I can't remember his name. Started with an "M")
PS..welcome to Rutgers!
Rameel! Thanks,,, he always got such great leverage..Meekins, Westwood HS, good wrestler, also Kevin Wilkins and Manny Silvestro State caliber.

Well for starters he was not on Flood's radar as of Nov 28, 2015. No RU contact had been documented up until Ash came on board. Very slim chance as we know Flood had 3 solid LB and they had closed the LB needs book when the trio signed up. If I am not mistaken did not Flood pick a 4th LB. so the likely hood of a PWO was very slim and even just a WO was not likely with Flood

Maybe there's a reason he wasn't on Floods or anyone else's radar for that matter
Yes there was big reason! I could not find him on Rivals or Scout. or 24/7 so maybe the kid did not go to the show off camps that get you listed. So one sports outlet had him as the 10th best NJ LB in 2015. He made player of the game a number of weeks. and was SJ D player of the year and he was second team all state; again not to shabby just over looked. But it is clear this kid did not go and sell himself even if he had over 100 tackles and that is impressive for any one. Only Longa did +100 tackles on a routine base. Maybe Flood's staff did not look that hard as they already had a gaggle of LB. (who ranked higher then Brady.) But the major recruiting services did not get to evaluate this young man, so expect some surprises, here is where Ash and company are using the HS HC and asking and looking at film. with the official recruiting season over they can filter thru the left overs, and pick Jersey clean.

And the same from Scout
Generally, I have to wait for someone who wanted Flood fired to make the thread about Flood. And, no, I didn't see the "elite coaching" comment as a thinly-veiled dig at the previous regime. So you have proof that he would not have walked on if Flood was still here?

Yes because he wasn't good enough. I posted his times from the Opening in New York. Hell ODU didn't even offer him
You are one of 2 things a real neophyte to FB or a good ole TROLL.
So to set you straight if "YOU breath" at a rival/scout combine and you get 2 stars, just for showing up they love numbers.
I will not argue with you as there is something very strange going on here, I will not start a pissing contest.
But he is competing this week for state champ in wrestling at 225 lbs. IN the Daily Journal he was player of the year! he had 119 tackles no poor player can rack up that many. You have to be in the action to even see that many tackles. and believe me your statement about ODU not offering speaks volumes that something else is going on here as yes I agree if this kid did not get a ODU offer something is out of the norm here.
Ash had recruited OSU talent for a few years. I TRUST ASH's eyes over either of ours combined.
Trust me this is a classic Jersey sleeper.
