Apparently the RB commit ran 24 times for 344 and 3 TDs, along with a 76 yard receiving TD. I doubt the competition was a powerhouse, but that is one hell of a stat line. Ash an Co. need to keep him in the fold.

Also, Hayek had 3 fairly long touchdowns in the 4th quarter. Love seeing the low-radar guys like him and Duggan putting up monster numbers.

Against my school. :(. Heard Taylor was stuffed all first half and then just went buck wild in the second half. And no, football hasn't been the greatest there in the last decade or so. But we'll crush Salem in basketball. Lol

Love seeing crazy stats. A few years ago I had a RB who had 6 carries for 5 TDs and 270 yards. The 6th carry he stepped out of bounds on the 1 to let a senior RB score a td on his bday (this was all in the first half). Great kid that unfortunately had bad luck at Juco. Was a 1900 yard rusher as a junior and 1500 yard rusher as a senior.

My senior year, first game as a tailback, I had 8 carries for 184 yds against south river, in 2 1/2 qtrs. 4 Tds. Shoulda been 5 but I tried to dive into the end zone and fumbled. lol.

Charles Snorweah had 7 Touchdowsn on like 500 yards rushing in one game his senior year. Still think he could turn out to be a great one when he gets a chance.

Hayek had a nice game with 3 TD's, but how does SL not pick Taylor with a monster 4 TD's, and 344 yards rushing!

Why am I not surprised you would start a thread like this? ...especially seems odd at this juncture in the season... Jon Taylor has been in the limelight since he gave his verbal and there is always a possibility... I 'll depend on the staff to hold onto these 2017 recruits ...flips happen to all programs and kids always think it's greener on the other side...ask Ahmir Mitchell and Kiy Hester.

This isn't Flood running the show. Ash had seen this all before and I'll trust his judgement over our "experts" on this board...

I have a feeling he's gonna flip to another school. :(

He did visit Wisconsin a while back during the summer and there's been no change as a result of that. I regularly look at our recruit list on the home page to see if his name is still on it. Hopefully, that visit to Madison satisfied him that he had made the right choice.
