I hate to see my 2nd cousin lose his job, but, change is needed. At least he'll walk with $2 million.

I doubt he is his 2nd cousin but seems like a Rutgersal type thread

Steve Masielo. Uptempo, pressing style. The RAC will be rocking !!!!!

Better than Danny Hurley and his boring grinding out a 59-54 style victory.

Sounds like you were more concerned about protecting Eddie than Rutgers.

You criticized all of us for making valid points with FACTS. You wasted all of our time making ridiculous comments about which posters played "real" basketball and if they didn't they were dead wrong.

Was it hard defending him even though you knew it was over?

Jordan will be fine. Like you said, he has $2 million coming to him and probably earned more than $4 million in three years.

Will Rutgers be fine? That's why we post here. We don't get paid millions as fans, unfortunately.

SARCASM......I thought it was obvious. Guess I was wrong.

My opinions did not change, but, sometimes change is the only option.

I have never seen a more obvious firing/resign situation since Coach Shea.

He has to know he's a goner.
This year's team was a complete embarrassment. And he can't blame Mike Rice for that.
12 wins, to 10 wins, to 7 wins in your third year will get you fired every time.

. . . but, change is needed. . . .
In other breaking news, Barak Obama was elected president. Way to keep up. Some would say it's your loyalty to coaches up until just before they're fired. But I'd say it's your ability to figure stuff out quickly that sets you apart here. Wait'll you hear about these portable, or what some have called "mobile," phones that you can put in your pocket and leave the house with. You'll be so excited. In the meantime, enjoy watching the game back on your VCR. And don't forget your tickets to the Michael Jackson concert when you leave the house today. Happy new year. Good catching up with you.

Maybe it was a misprint as the article has it as an Eddie Jordan quote. If it was Bishop then they really need to change it.

Sometimes a program needs a fresh start and fresh face to change perceptions and , hopefully, the direction of the program. Whether or not you feel EJ deserves to be fired ( and I do) , no one can seriously argue that the Rutgers basketball program is not in desperate need of a new start
