Class of 2018:
QB Jared Martino (Malden - MA): "So basically we were given a ton of information today about the program, met with the strength coaches, academic advisors, all the coaches, players and some of the nutritionists. My favorite part of the visit was getting to ask the players questions. They basically allowed you to ask anything so it was really nice to get a sense of what it's like to be a scarlet knight. I really liked what I saw today overall, I was blown away. Rutgers has something special going on and hopefully one day I can maybe be apart of that."

RB Kyle Dobbins (St. Augustine Prep - NJ): "My mom, my step dad, and I had a great conversation with Coach Ash in the morning. We met some of the new coaches and started building relationships with them. Coach Spitt took all of us around the campus to see how it feels to be around Rutgers. After that my family got a chance to se the new door rooms. Overall it was a real good visit. My favorite part of the visit was when one of the OL, Micah Clark took me to the game room and we played madden against each other. He won, 21-28 tho."

RB Dylan McDuffie (St. Francis - NY): “It was a good visit, I loved the campus and atmosphere. We were broken up into position groups and talked with some of the players. We also saw what the guys do on a day to day basis. I talked to coaches Ash, Erb, and Okruch. They told me to just enjoy the campus and day. Today wasn’t a big recruitment day it was to show what Rutgers can offer guys on and off the field. Also, they told me to take everything in and that it definitely won’t be the last time I’ll be on campus. They really liked my film too.”

RB Onasis Neely (East Pennsboro - PA): "It went really well! I had a chance to meet the new Running Backs coach! We viewed the looker room, trainers room, and weight room. We listened to the nutrition and other speakers of the staff but one that stood out to me was the strength and conditioning coach present because I learned a lot during it. I would say my favorite part of the day was viewing the weight room and talking to my position coach and recruiting coach. The new RB Coach Erb just seems like a good coach, I feel I can learn a lot from him because of his background."

RB Re'Mahn Davis (Trinity Pawling - NY): "The visit was pretty excellent for me. I had the opportunity to meet with the recruiting director, Rbs coach, and head coach Chris ash who all expressed solid interest. they are looking to have me return for spring practice/the spring game soon. My favorite part was getting to walk through the facilities and hear about the tremendous strength and conditioning program complete with player transformations and lifting demonstrations."

RB Raveion Hargrove (Trotwood-Madsion - OH): “I took a tour of the facilities, talked a lot with coaches Okruch and Blazek. I really just got a feel for how they want to see every student athlete excel on and off the field. The program is definitely moving in the right direction. The coaches told me I’m a very dynamic player and they want me at Rutgers. They are fighting hard to get the offer to me soon.”

WR Shaquon Anderson-Butts (Harrisburg - PA): "The visit went good and I got to sit down with all the coaches and talk about football and how they could use me. It was a great time met many new football players and overall I had fun."

OL Jake Kradel (Butler - PA): "It went Great, absolutely loved the hospitality. I went early and got showed around campus and shown the good restaurants and everything there's to see outside of football. Also got to see all the football side of it and really enjoyed hearing and seeing what there expectations. I think my favorite part was getting one on one time with Coach Blazek and just talking about everything from Football to life."

OL Reggie Sutton (Calvert Hall - MD): "The visit was great, there were presentations on academics and life after football and using Rutgers accessibility to NYC and other media markets to our advantage that were intriguing. Also, it was great to talk with Coach Blazek and Galante again. Coach Ash knew who I was when I walked in, which made me feel great."

OL Anthony Marrone (Chestnut Hill Academy - PA): "My visit today went great. I was able to speak with Coach AJ and Coach Jafar. They talked to us about their academic program, football program and showed us around the football buildings. My favorite part had to be the position meeting with Coach AJ. I like how he had us write our favorite plays on the white board and talked about why they were our favorite. He also reviewed game cut ups and showed us how he would critique them. It also gave feel for his style of coaching."

DE Johnny Bogle (Nease - FL): "It went great. I loved it. The presentation was great. My mom loved it, my grandmother loved it. I just need to get up there and see a game for myself. I was impressed with Chris Ash and his whole thing. I think Rutgers is going to be very successful in the future."

DE Shamar Jones (Johnstown - PA): "I had a good visit. I really liked how the weight room looked, and the idea of the dietitian for the athletes. I talked with coaches Hewitt and Burnham only. Coach Hewitt and I just had a regular conversation with him about what was going on lately. Coach Burnham told me he watched my film and that he liked it and wanted me to get back down to visit again."

DT Calvin Carroll (St. Frances Academy - MD): "The visit was great! I visited Rutgers now 2 years in a row and every time I took the trip, I loved it! My favorite part of the visit was just reuniting with the coaches, this coaching staff is great. Didn’t talk a whole lot to the staff, other than joking around and laughing with them."

LB Matt McElroy (New Milford - NJ): "I thought I was a great visit. The coaches really showed how they plan to develop you as a man and football player. My favorite part was the player panel in which you could get a real feel from the players about there feelings toward Rutgers."

DB William Hackett (Trenton Central - NJ): "I enjoyed the whole experience of the junior day we got to see how life would be as a scarlet knight they also told us not only about the football aspect of things but also the education experience and the good things that you can get out of Rutgers after graduating a life beyond football my favorite part was the individual conferences with the coaches I found that very exciting and helpful on what each individual coach is looking for as they recruit."

DB Saeed Foster (Teaneck - NJ): "The visit went very well, they took us around the football facility and had many presentations, like a nutrition presentation and a Strength and conditioning presentation. I spoke with Coach Baker and Coach Busch about my recruiting process as well. My favorite part when we had player and position Coach meetings and I went with the CBs to speak with the new Corners Coach, Henry Baker. I really like what he brings to the table as a coach and I would love to play for him."

DB Zamir Mickens (St. Peter’s Prep - NJ): "The visit was great I was shown much love. I took a tour to the weight room, locker room, and training room. I got my height and weight verifies and I was very comfortable at Rutgers. I just had a great time. I talked to coaches Busch and Ash, and they were just saying how I would be a great fit at Rutgers. They said Coach Hansen has been saying a lot of positive things about me and they were excited to see me. They asked about my height and weight, and also said to me they wouldn’t want me to go anywhere else."

DB Jarrett Paul (Paramus Catholic - NJ): "The day went well. The staff showed me a lot of love. I had the chance to sit down with Coach Ash, and he told me that I'm a guy at the cornerback position that they're going to recruit hard in this 2018 class. At the end of the day I sat down with Coach Busch and he told me that he really likes my film and the way I compete. He let me know that an offer is coming soon. Also, Busch wants me to come back up sometime soon so I can spend some 1 on 1 time with him and the staff."

ATH Atrilleon Williams (Archbishop Stepinac - NY): "It went very good today. I got a chance to talk about the school, saw the weight room and looker room. Also, just hung out with the players on my team that came with me. I still have a great relationship with the staff. I talk to Coach Busch, Ash, and Hewitt the most. They just want me to help rebuild there program."

Class of 2019:
DE Ben Smiley (Indian River - VA): “We watched some film, I ate at the best buffet ever, met some of the players and staff. At the end of the visit I received a scholarship offer. Coach Burnham told my father and I about my talent and work ethic he saw on my film. He loved it and said I would benefit the program a lot."

Class of 2020:
DE Tre Williams (Kingswood-Oxford - CT): "Rutgers was lit! I loved the DLine coach he was my favorite coach but we talked a lot about the culture of RU. The coaches also talked a lot about character which is important in my family. My personal favorite part was trying on the jersey i have never done that before so it was a good experience to have."
