Just no energy or passion tonight

I think we all took our defense for granted. We used to start every game with intensity. We seem a little lackadaisical at the start of the last three games. We finally turned it on with about 8 minutes to play tonight but it was too late. We’re trying to win games with our offense and that’s not how we got to where we are. That’s not who we R!

Sorry. Not following. If we don't find our energy and intensity its going to be tough to win any more games down the final stretch of the season.
It certainly did not seem good enough to me to beat Illinois, Maryland, PSU or any other of our upcoming opponents.

Think we need to show up with it and not wait for the last 6-8 minutes.

You didn’t see us play defense tonight? Sometimes , not always , the Other team is just unconscious shooting threes, twos and foul shots, which is what Ohio State did that first half. The 2 late threes at the half, were killers after we cut it to 9, they got it back to 15 at the half. A ton of loose balls wound up in Ohio State ‘s possession and one thing we did not do was rebound as they got a lot of offensive rebounds . Otherwise, our defense picked up second half, they started missing shots, and if we convert a few layups and dunks we might have come all the way back. We do have to stop letting teams get out to 15 point leads, but it had little to do with our intensity but it had to do with Ohio State’s shooting and the loose balls and deflections going right to Ohio State .

Com'on man. OSU outhustled us for alot of the game. You admit as much w the rebounding and loose balls and etc. We had a few lazy plays on D too getting back to defend. Our intensity to start the last 2 games has not been good. Part of it is the other teams shooting hot, yes, but then we also seem cathartic when that happens...the energy at the end of both games proves that it does matter and is different
