Per his Wikipedia page:

Kevin Reece Wilson (born October 23, 1961) is an American football college coach, former player and is currently the offensive coordinator at the Ohio State University.

And espn:

And JT Barrett announced he is returning for his senior year.

We are so screwed .. . . . .
Our new OC won more Big Ten coach of the year awards then Ohio states!

On coaching acumen, I think it's a very good hire. I thought he might have to sit a year or so to let the off the field issues subside but I guess not.

tOSU's march of destruction through college football starts today. Only the Saban Death Star stands in the way.

Barret will finally get to play for a guy who knows how and when to call them.Good move for Urban. Now a little tweaking on D and they might have a representative team in '17.

Well, they get shellacked by Clemson last week. So, I'd say "it's possible."

Now, all we have to do is hire Clemson's coaching staff and get all of their players to transfer.

Too funny. How many posters here were claiming this guy was "untouchable" in regards to the OC position? SMH

Is Warriner out?
There were reports earlier this week that Warinner was going to remain on staff, but his role was unclear. I think they'd like to keep him and send him back down on the field to work with the o-line, have Wilson in the box running the offense. Would he be okay with a defacto demotion?

My hunch is that we haven't seen Wilson officially announced because they're trying to find a landing spot for someone (Warinner, Studrawa or possibly Zach Smith) so they can save face.

Urban taking another chance at a former (good) HC reclamation project. GS's reputation was in the crapper, he got a job. Now wilson.

Warriner will coach the OL at Minnesota rather than be the OC. That job is going to Kirk Ciarocca. So PJ has Kirk as OC and Robb Smith as DC.

That will be a heck of a step down . ( and is)
Kirk is supposedly on the mix to replace Fleck at WMU.( no WMU HC, but Minny OC)
EDIT: Football scoop has it the way feelinit posted.

Warinner may have been in the same boat as Beck. That boat being "we'll give you some time to find a new job so you can save face." He's a terrific oline coach and I would have been very much in favor of keeping him on in that capacity. As an OC I think he was over his head.

Great hire by Fleck and the Gophers. He'll make them better.
