Kit Hester

Whoops. I was using my IPad and it auto corrected. Damn thing

OK I'll be the only one who takes the OP seriously. Sigh. Yeah word is he ain't 100% but he's gonna play. Listed as questionable which in coach speak usually means playing some downs here and there. No inside knowledge, just from what I've read on the boards. So yeah I DO think we will see him some this Sat.

Not so sure about his evil twin brother Kit.

Dammit, I couldn't help myself.

You seem to be missing now from the Mets thread. Do you need directions back to it?

I think I posted all that needs to be posted re the Metsies. They have taken advantage of what looked to be the most favorable schedule I've ever seen to build a lead on their only competition....the mediocre, sub .500 Nationals. I said in that endless thread that it looked like they would make the playoffs by winning their weakass division. Just a head's up, but the Metsies won't be facing any sub .500 squads when the playoffs begin.
I've pretty much said all that needs to be said about that juggernaut from Queens. Hopefully I'll be back once the playoffs begin to remind them that they won't be playing Philly or Miami or Colorado or Atlanta or Cincinnati
What's their record vs. winning teams again ?

I'm a Yankees fan. As long as the mets are in, they got a chance to win the whole thing with that staff.

OP, I don't mean to pry, but what do you have against Caboodle? Dude is a baller.

Yanks lost series to Phils , just to point it out and could not beat the Indians either by the way.

Thanks. That was the rumor I heard about Kiy.

Glad I provided some unintentional humor today.

Any team can lose a series to any team...if they are playing well and the other team hits a bump in the road.
You haven't noticed that in your years as a fan of MLB ?
That being said, the Metsies were indeed fortunate to face the Phillies(twice), Rockies, and Marlins during a two-week stretch that was sure to make fans of the Amazins all tingly with excitment. Nevermind that they were the three worst teams in baseball. Let's go Mets.
Kudos anyway for dispatching the Nationals...who haven't really impressed anyone since maybe April.
But again, your team is gonna have to beat winning teams once the playoffs start. Good luck with that.
