He said after peach jam that he will wait a bit longer. Either before or during the season. I’m expecting September to November timeframe.
I'm glad he's being thoughtful about it. Even if he's pretty sure on where he wants to go, taking a few extra weeks is not a bad thing.
Why would anyone have thought RU was a lock?
Don't sweat it. Only get nervous if somebody says "take it to the bank".
If we review every social media comment, we'd be here for years trying to figure things out. All signs trending towards RU. It's as close to a lock as you can get without seeing the kid in uniform in November 2024. Even after he signs, you will still have doubters that will say, well, he could change his mind and go somewhere else.
I think it was a live video on Snap or TikTok. Someone said to come to Rutgers and he replied “no”.
Probably tired of people telling him what to do but doubt he’s a lock.
I'd settle for a signed Letter of Intent.
Harper is in no hurry to make a decision .He wants to make additional visits which means September might be the earliest time frame.I believe because of the family relationship with Rutgers that he would have already sent a signal that another school would be chosen.He is a one and done college recruit who will ultimately say playing in front of family was the deciding factor in choosing Rutgers.
