Higgins...you should have been around for Waters. This was a vibrant and very active board where sometimes you would have a whole page of stuff after one game. Sadly when Waters was fired the board just went down hill year by year but we are now on the uptick

Winning is the equalizer between fan interest and indifference and constant complaining.
Ru bball fans have been disenfranchised for years. Come January we had no hope of going to the tourney and would feel left out of the excitement of College bball. Now there's hope and friends coming out of the woodwork planning on going to games.

It's fun again. That's the main thing. You don't watch sports for the aggravation. And if you do, it's a short term tolerance (at least for me).
I really enjoyed games as an undergrad. But there's been such a malaise, mixed with spectacular failure (mike rice - Gil Biruta) it was really discouraging. This pikiell hire couldn't have gone better because we needed an infusion of talent and excitement

This board was fantastic in the Waters era.
Bringing the wife and another couple to the FDU game. First game at the RAC for me since I brought 7 others and MSU absolutely crushed us.
Went to every home game during my undergrad years from 79-83, and probably half of the Lady Knights games. Loved the Wenzel and Waters years.
This team is such a pleasure to root for, because of the teamwork and energy they put out there on every possession on O and D. What a coaching staff! Nothing but good times ahead for our basketball program (it is so fun to type that). RACmosphere is back!
Absolutely. I have brought my two brothers. Two new fans. It has been a lot of fun. We are all RU grads.
Just got another friend to go on Wednesday. Total of 5 carpooling from Columbus, NJ. 4 of us are RU grads.

I am going to try to beat that by seasons end, but I am not sure I have the cavalry.
My mom and dad are next up. My mom comes from a big basketball family in Brooklyn, and has been to the RAC one time thanks to RutgersRARA. She should be an easy sell.
