The link to the hoops all-time results and records page seems to have vanished. And I also just noticed that there is no search function on SK.com. Hmmmm.
All that info is in the media guide I linked. Also there is a search function at the top right of the sk.com homepage
So, looking in the media guide at seasons where we went 6-0 or better to start....
1975-76 (31-0)
1966-67 (7-0)
1937-38 (8-0)
1936-37 (8-0)
1934-35 (6-0)
1921-22 (7-0)
That makes 2016-17 tied for the 6th best start in school history.
Edit: Interestingly, all the seasons listed from 1921-1937 were under Frank J Hill as coach (coached from 1915-1943).

Thanks, although from a user perspective, burying all that history under the "more" dropdown in a nondescript link called "online media guide," is extremely unhelpful. Also, scrolling through that giant media guide is a pain in the ass vs. having a bunch of separate, well labelled links in logical locations, like they have for the football team, where the all-time season results are simple to find. Poor job by the SK webmaster.
The 1991 team was our last NCAA team.
I also pretty sure the 1983 team won 20 games.
