It is well know by just about everyone on Long Island who is the best running back in each class.
Long Island Elite is an organization that consolidates talent and plays all over.
And if you think Long Island Football isn't good....our 13U team went down to San Antonio, TX and played and beat their East All Star Team and West All Star Team in Jan 2020....(without our starting QB.....without the ultimate freak of nature.....Caden Brown (2024-EHall/WR/DE)....and without WR TJ Bacon (2023 - LuHi - WR)
Top Long Island Running Backs:
2023 - Jerry Colclough - Hometown/Rosevelt - Long Island Lutheran High School/Glen Head, NY
2024 - Jameer Reader - Hometown/Freeport - Holy Trinity/Hicksville, NY
2025 - Devon Gonzalez - Hometown/Glen Cove - Glen Cove Middle School (probably goes to Holy Trinity)
So today...down in Delaware at a football combine.....14 year old, Jameer Reader ran a 4.84 - 40 at 5'8 - 167
Here is the reason for the post....my son, Nick Parisi speed trains with Jameer and 3 other future Holy Trinity kids.
All the kids played on Long Island Elite at various points in time.
Josiah Brown (2024 - CB/S - Holy Trinity) is the fastest.
Rannall White Jr (2024 - CB/S - Holy Trinity) and Issiah Davis (2024 - CB/WR - Holy Trinity) are close behind....probably 4.8 kids.
Jameer Reader (2024 - RB/MLB - Holy Trinity) is next....and he officially clocked a 4.84 at a combine in Delaware today.
My son, Nick is about .25-.3 slower than Jameer (he gets officially timed next week at Offense/Defense Football Camp)
I think its time for Rutgers to put Holy Trinity High School/Hicksville, on the map of schools to recruit again.
These kids are all 14 years old.....I have to assume they will trim 0.1 off their 40 time every year for the next 4 years.
So you can have 4 football players with sub 4.5 - 40 yard dash times....(and I stress....these kids are football players....not track kids).....and perhaps Nick can get into the 4.6-4.8 range as a linebacker.
Just sharing some proprietary info.
