I wouldn't read into the hug, they always do that. However, some always want to insinuate that she wants him out but I don't see it other than for performance related issues. His contract was bumped up and funded privately. I'd have to think she's involved in that. She was even criticized by some here for it. A big new booster, Jeff Towers, who she and her team brought in tweeted out firm support for Flood. You'd think they probably are on the same page as opposed to boosters who previously existed before her time who may or may not have issues with her. It doesn't mean he couldn't be let go if he performs badly or if someone above her pay grade or more power wants him gone but I don't the feel that it emanates from her or that she's trying to sabotage him.

Some say she wanted to get rid of him when she first came. That may be true. But she was new to school, didn't know the lay of the land yet and some boosters may have wanted that so she went along trying to get it done. Even if that did happen back then, it doesn't mean that's the current atmosphere now.
