Marques Ford attending JuCo?

He didn't leave on his own accord.
His twitter says Jones County JC. I don't feel a need to say "Wow what a fall" though. He seems like a really great person. It did not work out for him with UT or here. Life is a journey, maybe he is in the right place finally.
Fair enough. I had just assumed he left of his own volition because he wasn't happy with RU. It would be odd for our highest rated recruit to be shown the door, though I suppose it could have been academics. I agree that he seems like a great young man and I will root for him
He was shown the door and it wasn't because of grades. In fact, he was gone before Ash even got here

I've heard rumors but would not ever post them here since I cannot confirm them.
I wish Mr Ford the best of luck and hope he takes advantage of his opportunities for a good education and the chance to get a shot at the NFL some day.

Going to a JUCO makes me think there's something going on that has college program shying away from him.
But I think , because of his talent, there's a program out there that will take a chance and bring him in, unless it's an academic issue that would deny him eligibility.

I always think the best move for a player that R/S his first year and is looking to transfer is to do a year at a JUCO. It is a year where he will be playing versus sitting out a second straight year. It also gives the player a sense of what level recruit he is and where to transfer that gives you the best chance to play immediately.
You had one poster call him a "really great person", there clearly were issues.
If you do something wrong, people are going to talk about it.

You can't compare him to Rice...you have to realize that some people do know what went down

No, i said he "seems like a great person", I never said I knew him or "he is a great person"
But if there are poeple comparing him to Ray Rice, and a bunch of you are insuating that he did something, another person says "you wouldn't want people you know around him. Sounds like a very nasty person i agree with PeteGiam07, it would be better to just say what everyone is insinuating....sounds like he was one of the DB crowd or something. As everyone here always says, links, pictures or just state what he did.

He's being sued for sexual assault, as per the other thread. Not sure that's "the right place."
