Rutgers & NJ @ Heart
JG, Haskins.

Can we say we're disappointed...let down without getting attacked?

Flood's a good man. He's doing it right.Great. Meanwhile back at the ranch, there's an implication that
"doing it wrong" may have lead to Haskin's decision...and what about UNC, USC, Texas, UConn / Sara (b-ball), SMU, ...the list is endless. What do these teams have in common...they've WON the big games, championships, attracted continuing support / except for SMU....they've built their brand.

I don't want RU to be penalized....but I'm tired of trying to swim upstream redteam, when the flow is rapidly going in the opposite direction.

Flood needs to land some big time recruits...if for no other reason than to prove he can.

Hope Mrs. Gary has her son's twitter, email / cell phone accounts...and can sit him down for a heart to heart talk ending in: "Rutgers- that's it"!

How could he be in a drought when recruits keep raining on his parade?

Honestly...I don't care about "brand" or anything else. I want RU to be competitive and not sell their souls to be at championship level. Flood will be judged...as all HC's are judged... by wins and losses on the field. Recruiting rankings, star rankings are all for off season discussion. In the end, the only thing that will matter is wins and losses on the field while doing it in the right way (not cheating or abusing rules). RU is not going to have the personnel to seriously compete for a championship in football in the B1G. I want to see competiveness and solid results ....maybe 7 or 8 wins. If Flood does that this year...breaking in a new QB..he will be on solid ground going forward. That will be much to the dismay of those who want a train wreck ...so RU will be looking for a new HC>
