#8 CB is not a late round pick. That would put him solidly in the first two rounds. Last year the 49th pick was the 8th CB. The way the money is slotted there very little money to gain now vs what you lose by returning and getting to your second contract a year sooner.

Funny enough I actually know Mel Kiper… He was best friends with my uncle in HS at Calvert Hall, when we moved to Maryland he and my uncle actually came to the house for a BBQ. Interesting guy

I agree. LB depth was an issue this year. Forcing other units to have to do more. Those guys just tired as the season went on. I hope we can hold on to the freshmen LB's that were injured.

I think most people still think of the draft as 2 days on a weekend weekend with rounds 1-3 with 4-7 on day 2…not this spectacle of multiple days with round 2 on day 2.

Yeah I’m bullish on the D for sure. We need to run the ball well and they will be fine. And yes we need to score points too.
