RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!12-7 final. Good effort by our guys. Few turnovers & good on ground balls among other things. Don't like to criticize but no14 continues to be a liability, especially on defense same as he was last year. Surprised that Brecht keeps going with him. Must have another middie that can do it. Needed the win. Go RU!
Yeah their goalie was very, very good. Interesting on Robt. Morris. It was a good win. The things we haven't been doing well, we did better. Groundballs and faceoffs were where we need to be. The one area we need to continue improving on is shooting. We had a lot of good looks that we didn't capitalize on. Got to give some credit to their goalie too. He played very, very well. Still, we bury some of the good looks we had, the score looks much different. Wins are wins though at this level, and play was encouraging. Our strength of schedule looks pretty good early. St. John's had nice win over High Point and Robert Morris beat Penn St. today. Robert Morris is a sleeper team. They are good. Army over Syracuse would help too.
Congrats to the team, good win, and looked better in the process. Keep building every game.
I know an Army win helps our SOS and makes our loss look not bad, but does an Army win over Cuse also kinda hurt us since we’ll be vying for a spot in the tourney with them? I know it’s way too early to pose such a question. Just curious about your view since you know the most about lacrosse than anyone hereSyracuse making a run. After watching Robert Morris, it was obvious they had a squad. Hope Army can pull this out.
And of course Syracuse pulls it out ... ughSyracuse making a run. After watching Robert Morris, it was obvious they had a squad. Hope Army can pull this out.
OSU wins!!! UM lost to Yale. Boo! PSU LOST (standing ovation)!!!!!!!OSU in serious danger of being upset by Jacksonville on the road.
It is insane what the last decade has done to lacrosse. My dad keeps saying the next 10 years it is going to really explode.I saw a lot of lacrosse this weekend. From the eye test, we look as good as anyone I saw. We have to keep getting better, but so do a lot of other teams. This sport is incredibly competitive now.
I'd argue it already has. It's the fastest growing sport in the country, some say the world. Obviously there is a lot of room to grow, but still.
I never saw kids with lax sticks here 15 years ago. Now I see them all the time. The Ca. kids in college are now that first generation that grew up playing from a young age and were coached by people who know the game.
The level of lacrosse here is getting pretty high from what I understand. Same with Utah and Colorado. Look at the kids we have from those states on our team now. Studs. All of them.
Nuts, sent you a Linked response, fyi.
