The Billy Goat was named Murphy,and were cursed back in 1908 after the goat wasn't let into a bar for their World Seris celebration. The Cubs blew that big lead against the Mets when Bob Murphy was their announcer, the Cubs lost to the Padres in the NLCS at Jack Murphy Stadium{Bob's brother} and now they will lose to a Mets team led by Daniel Murphy.You can't make this $hit up.
