Michigan State vs Indiana.

Holy shit, Indy with two sacks in a row in OT!! Not sure what this means, but we play both of these teams.

FG missed, so Indy will beat MSU if they get even a FG here. Wow. Changing of the guard with MSU?

Looks like the long-established pattern in the big ten is emerging this year:

Ohio state
Michigan

Everyone else

Let's wait and see how Wisconsin does against OSU before saying this. Plus Nebraska is getting much better, too.

Here's what I think I know about the B1G after five weeks:

OSU and Michigan are the clear top tier. Wisconsin and Nebraska are a step behind. Rutgers, Illinois and Purdue look pretty bad. And everyone else is mediocre and results likely vary depending on the day.

I'm not sure if this means we have no chance against Indiana or that we have a chance against Michigan State.

Both teams have "systems" built-in at this point AND more athletes than us. Can we beat Indiana on the road? Maybe, and I think that's one we might get because of all the teams left on our schedule they probably have the least "quality depth" and "athletes" we face, but would I bet on us? No freakin' way. MSU in East Lansing? Doubtful IMHO.

Under even semi normal circumstances we would have a fighters chance against either. . But no Grant plus no qb plus loss of Lambert and maybe Jones makes us too weak to challenge. Is what it is. As of today we are in turn of the century mode.
