Mike Burton and Lions vs Jets Last night

I tuned in midway throug the 4th Quarter for a few minutes and saw Burton was in the game at FB against the Jets. Looked like he got to his blocks and did his job in those few plays I saw him. Did anyone else see anymore of the game.. or how early / often he was in. I saw from the game box score that he had no carries or receptions.

Surprised to see no earlier threads on this. Although I had forgotten myself that the Jets were playing last night until I turned it on around 10PM.

I watched some of the game and did see Burton for some plays but not nearly as much as plays as I thought he would get. He missed 1 block completely on a sweep but other than that he did a good job. Nothing outstanding and they have several TEs/FB that line up in the backfield as lead blockers. He may have a hard time making the team. I did not see him on special teams.

That goes against the reports from camp. They've seemed to all be positive.

Just found this clip from the game last night. The play that begins at the :19 second mark includes Burton picking up a Jet LB (Couples) and helping to clear a lane for Abdullah to pick up a few more yards. This was from the first Q so apparently saw some early PT.
