With us entering a pretty tough road of games ahead, time to think of what is still possible. Barring a miracle with the way we are playing, making the league championship is the most realistic goal. If we can just stay out of the bottom three, we will be able to show up and maybe have some magic.
Ace blew us out of the water with his antics at the end. Maybe we still would have lost, but the reaction by Harper afterwards said it all.
Anyway, with us not making the dance and being the first ever school with 2 five stars on it to miss it. Let's hope we can at least make the league one.

Aim to not be in bottom 3 and miss the league tourney. If we miss league tournament, major fail by Pike.

astounding how differently our season and st john’s have gone since our scrimmage. obviously just a scrimmage but we looked like two pretty evenly matched teams. now they’re 17-3.
Was thinking same thing last night

St John’s was wildly successful in the portal as nearly every meaningful player minus Wilcher cage from portal in last two years

I know these revised expectations are probably unrealistic but as a Rutgers fan:“Hope Springs Eternal”

Win 7 of the Next 12 regular season conference games for total of 17 regular season wins.
Play Dortch
Win 4 more games at the RAC to help convince me thst rac magic still has s pulse. those 4 home wins should include Illinois, Iowa and Minnesota as revenge games.
A win aganist Izzo at the mecca Would be a cherry on the top.
Win 2 games on the Big 10 tourney.

No hope for the dance.
Build a better roster for next year.
Get an assistant coach who can run a decent offense.

i know i'm being optimistic but at the very least we need to be better then last years team.

The only goal is a not sick or injured Dylan.
It doesn’t matter how many points our bench scores or how many points Ace has….we’re going nowhere except for an odd great effort win.
Consistent winning can still take place if Dylan is available and healthy….
Sports history is littered with great talented difference makers unable to perform for whatever reason.
Make the B1G tournament with a 100% Dylan is the goal

Think how close we were to beating Alabama and Texas A & M to probably missing the b1g tournament.
Basically, this team if all goes well was very good. However, everything that could have gone wrong, has. Lose in the “homecoming” scrub game to KSU. Lost to Princeton (arguably the toughest Q3 team to beat, also lucky to be our rivalry game), on a neutral floor of all places. Dylan gets the flu right at the end of non-conference play. Which was also our most winnable road game. Then he rolls his ankle in our second-most-winnable road game. Truly just a disaster

So I’m saying, IF Pike puts his foot down and schedules scrub instead of @ KSU who would be so hyped up for that game with Ace coming home, and IF Pike cancelled the Pru game after Arky backed out and got another scrub at the RAC or a home game vs Princeton (win) or road game (not as hurtful a loss), and IF Dylan doesnt get the flu and we beat Indy and Wisconsin, where would we be now? Could be just the same 16-3/15-4 and rolling. Instead we’re 10-9.

It’s sports. These things happen. Roster needed to be assembled better, coach needed a better plan and on court performance needed to be better from almost everyone. This is just not a good TEAM
