Whether HS, college, or the pros, in whatever sport it is, when athletes are having fun, they're often just able to get to a higher level of effort, in part because their bodies aren't so tense. It's much more fun to watch as a fan than watching athletes that don't seem to care about anything but getting paid.Played like he meant it. Fun to watch when cliff is having fun out there. Let's keep it up!
Everyone was grinning tonight. Even Gavin! More tonight than any other game. We’ve gotta play like this. Can’t get too tense the way we shoot. Loose and happy has to be mantra on offense.Whether HS, college, or the pros, in whatever sport it is, when athletes are having fun, they're often just able to get to a higher level of effort, in part because their bodies aren't so tense. He played with incredible passion and played pretty smart too, not overdoing it on D trying to block shots (although he got 5), but instead focusing more on boards, getting 15 and he made a few shots, too, especially that one at the end of regulation that seemed to roll around forever before dropping in. Still would like to know what happened on his breakaway dunk after our steal (never heard the explanation). That is all
Simpson was fouled. He then fell into the opponent in front of him. Guess something had to be called there with guys falling because of contact. He played with incredible passion and played pretty smart too, not overdoing it on D trying to block shots (although he got 5), but instead focusing more on boards, getting 15 and he made a few shots, too, especially that one at the end of regulation that seemed to roll around forever before dropping in. ok, that sounds familiar - and now I'm remembering that we were wondering if that might've been called as a flagrant on them to keep us from scoringSimpson was fouled. He then fell into the opponent in front of him. Guess something had to be called there with guys falling because of contact.
