Yes and Cook was out for MSU too.wow. Who was OSU QB? Barett?
No joke; that was. No Connor Cook, playing at home, inclement weather, what more could the Buckeyes ask for.Definitely scratch Meyer off our list of potential head coaches. Stunningly poorly coached game by him.
Who else should? As of now...Clemson yes, Alabama yes, B12 winner likely, then it's either ND or the B10 winner and to me as I explained above that looks to lean towards the B10 winner. No joke; that was. No Connor Cook, playing at home, inclement weather, what more could the Buckeyes ask for.
What a joke if either Iowa or Michigan State makes it into the Final 4.
The transitive theory does not apply. How is it that we can play MSU close and score points vs them to keep it very close but get blown out vs OSU while looking noncompetitive all while MSU beats OSU? What gives?
Yea but I don't think that's good enough. Assume MSU wins out they'd have wins against OSU/Michigan/Iowa. If not them then OSU, they'd have wins against Michigan/Iowa. Iowa if they win out would be undefeated. So all 3 look to be better than ND IMO.ND might get in beating their best teams Navy and Pitt, teams we normally beat without a problem.
If Oklahoma beats TCU tonight they deserve a shot.

The problems would come up if PSU beats MSU and Michigan beats OSU next week and then MSU beats Iowa in the B10 champ game. Then the B10 would be in danger.
You're right I'm counting that 2nd loss as in conference, it was against Utah. Well that would be a problem if they went on to beat Iowa. They'd have 2 losses. They'd have wins over Iowa/OSU but I don't know if that's enough to beat out 1 loss ND.if psu beats msu and michigan beats osu, michigan goes to the big ten title game
I think it's not likely to be a comparison between the B12 and B10 unless some crazy stuff happens. I think it's likely to be a comparison between both those conferences and ND. Put it this way as long as it's an undefeated Iowa vs either a 1 loss MSU/OSU in the B10 champ game then I think the B10 champ is in no matter the outcome. To me if any of Baylor/OU/Ok. St has 1 loss they likely are in over ND but that's a closer call. Personally, I think ND has the biggest ground to make up because they don't have signature wins to rack up just the signature loss to Clemson. They also don't have a champ game to play.If Oklahoma State loses one of it's last two, wouldn't an undefeated Iowa team coming off a win vs. 11-1 Sparty/OSU OR a 12-1 MSU go over the Big-12 champ?
Funny Al!!!!!!!If we played tOSU today, we would roll them . . . . .
League familiarity they've been doing it against each other a long time which is why a new team struggles when entering a new leagueHow is it that we can play MSU close and score points vs them to keep it very close but get blown out vs OSU while looking noncompetitive all while MSU beats OSU? It's not a joke if an undefeated Iowa gets in. It's not a joke if MSU does, either. No joke; that was. No Connor Cook, playing at home, inclement weather, what more could the Buckeyes ask for.

OSU had too much time to get lost between the ears as they played 6 weeks in a row of cupcakes. Throw in the WR injuries and QB mess and they never got untracked. I kept reading/hearing the QB situation was finally settled with Barrett but I didn't see anything amazing. Then the police issues. Meyer seemed a little adrift this year
It's amazing what losing reveals. It's all fun and games until you lose at home to a team starting their backup at QB.OSU did not play like they should have obviously. What is with the RB throwing the coach under the bus because he didn't get the carries he wanted? And is headed to the NFL.
Perhaps that is why the team is not playing like a team?
I guess they get actual coaching, too.I guess MSU's back-up QBs know the playbook?
