Cannot wait to see these two beasts go at it this year. It is going to be an absolute war

Watching this Minnesota vs Nebraska game. Both teams look good. B1G is so good

Gene has to gain some control on offense. He looked a bull in a china shop in the first half the other night. He doesn't have to do it all.

I’m watching this game too from a hotel in Chicago... this conference is so friggen good. What a game and comeback so far by Minn.

In our last 18 games of the schedule, all league games, there is literally not one easy game on the schedule.

Unlike some of our other players who would could stand to be a little be more aggressive, I think Eugene needs to let the game come to him a little more. Don’t want to take away his edge but it seems he thinks he need to do something every time he gets the ball...he’s just forcing it a little sometimes.

Minor point. He’s one of my favorite
RU players ever, and I go back aways.

I agree and said in another thread I don’t want him to become another Freeman when we have actual other options on offense.

With that said. If he can get the touch down from shots 6 feet in he will be a 20+ scorer.

Off the top of my head last game I thought there was a few times he forced a shot closer to the basket but is so big and has good body control in the area that it actually turned into a good look. He just missed it

If issa was more aggressive, then I'd agree. Freeman took some crazy shots, but it's not like there were better options). Wisconsin ran the ball thru Happ, who was methodical. Eugene isn't throwing up too many crazy shots. Most are working towards the rim. Develop this year for a run at the tourney next year .

You have to take it easy on these guys a little. We are not exactly filled with offensive threats on this team. They force a little at times because of that.
