1. The off-field distractions had to play a role today.
2. I miss Schiano - not the head coach, but the defensive coordinator. Rossi hasn't given me one game where I've said - wow, he really called a good game.
3. Running game worked well once we got it going. Norries Wilson is probably the best coach on the team.
4. Turay was a liability at the end of the game. He's far from first round pick at this point.
5. Maybe Darius would have made a difference today?
6. Our secondary did not do any worse than last year. Difference was lack of pressure.
7. Probably my least objective post here - but simply put, Flood is not a big time coach. We might finish at .500 or a game above, but is that what we will be happy with long term? His recruiting class is "nice," but is it one that will get Him a big ten title? He's had ample time to grow into the job. Today's game indicates he still is, because he hasn't gotten this team disciplined on - and arguably off- the field.
