those of you who did not read my post from last week, my mom is battling stage 4 cancer. Second week in a row I battled guilt of leaving her and coming to game. This week we were fortunate enough to have good friends visit her today. Distraction for me was much needed. Win would have felt a whole lot better

My take on game.

1. Don't have to look that hard for two positives on offense. Loved how we are incorporating the tight end and fullback in our play calling. Love how both Hicks and Martin fight for extra yards.

2. Love Flood but..........OMG Laviano is obviously hurt on his QB run. Even Limps after the next play. Why in heavens name do you call a play where he has to drop back for a pass. Play the chess game, WSU saw he was hurt, you knew they would send the house. Obvious time for a draw play or just run the ball.

3. Suspension, injuries etc are what kills mediocre teams that lack depth. So many times we should have been in nickel or dime but we just don't have the horses available.

4. Will try not to call out players but....... How many chop blocks did we have? Thought I was watching an Army vs Navy game.

I could go on but I will end on this. As I said said last week my mom's cancer has really put this football season in perspective. Listen, I want to win just like everyone else but between my mom's fight and the 911 ceremonies I am constantly reminded that life is short. Hated to lose but I am so fortunately that my wife, daughter and myself were able to be with our scarlet brother and sisters. Much like my mom's fight, this season is not over by a long shot. It will have its highs and lows but we will stand tall. bELieve! Thank you again for letting me tell my story and for your prayers and positive vibes!
