I live in the middle of Times Square and literally on my way home tonight I witnessed something remarkably similar to what i just saw on the video. Punches were thrown, both girls hitting guys and vice versa, and one of the guys even picked up a sandwich board outside one of the restaurants and threw it and hit one of the other people
Will anything happen to anyone involved in this fight - are you kidding. And the fact that a sandwich board was used as a weapon makes it far worse than the "scrum" that the video showed.There were police around and they didnt even bother breaking up the melee, this type of thing occurs on an hourly basis in NYC
Guessing this type of thing happens on Easton Ave at least once or twice a week, but it never gets reported and certainly no arrests are made,. Given what we know of LC's character, it would be totally within reason to protect your mother and/or girlfriend if you saw them being assaulted. If the "victim" happened to get thrown to go the ground AFTER assaulting either LC's mom or girlfriend, that is just self defense and its ridiculous that LC has been at all tarnished from this . I am guessing that some of the stuff that Jameis Winston pulled down in Florida makes this look laughable
I do understand why LC had to be suspended indefinitely given the media hit that Rutgers had been taking and I cant help but think if this was a different season and the team had no prior incidents, that LC would be innocent til proven guilty. Again, unfortunately for us, we live in a state where the tail wags the dog, and the media runs our football program, since we have nobody who can stand up to them. I sure hope that LC doesnt become a victim of this for something that almost any of us would have done in a heartbeat - without consequence . If it is found that the "victim" was indeed the aggressor as it appears on the video, if she cant make financial restitution to Carroo for the libel and slander caused , I hope she is locked up for a just a little bit, and those green dollar signs she saw turn into an Orange jumpsuit
