Why can’t someone phrase the question so there is a chance to corner coach a little bit. Instead of “what were u thinking on the kick and time out? Open ended.
How about “Greg, when he sent the kicker out there, did u want him to try that 57 yarder into a brutal cross wind or prefer they go for a 4th & 13?”
Once he answers, follow up with “then why would u ever call a TO early or late and give them a chance to change their mind???
Later: “do u really think blitzing and leaving 3 out of 4 freshman to cover their 4 WRs gave u the best chance to win? Even if he says yes, it puts the point out there for him to think about.
He gets too many lay up questions.
Media needs to grow some balls with him.
Btw, I love Greg. But media has to be better. Zero reason to call that TO and the question let him off the hook.
