*National Champion* Chloe Timberg brings home the gold at NCAA’s

She eventually hit 4.71m (15' 5.5") to claim the meet record, though could not quite get the 4.74m (15' 6.5") that would have given her the NCAA record. Dominated, not missing a jump until her first attempt at 4.65m, with 2nd place coming in at 4.55m.

I know angles are deceptive and I'm not sure what height she was attempting in the fourth photo here but she looks to be clearing that jump by a foot! Chloe was flying on Thursday! Is this cool, or what!? Congrats, Chloe... go RU!

I am so happy for Chloe and Rutgers. Having coached track and cross country for 40 years this means so much to me. Chloe has been one of top pole vaulters for three years she has been on RU track and field and it is such an honor that she is a National champ representing RU. I wish I could have been in Oregon to witness the event. I hope Chloe can continue to improve and that she can make our Olympic team. Congratulations to her.

Who will the major competition come from in the Olympic trials? It seems like many of those who make it to the Olympics are collegians. Perhaps there are a number of past college champions still competing?

RU Track & Field have both lowkey become solid programs on the uprise.
Yeah, Tucker, Whittle & O'Sullivan were all good freshmen. And Duncan will help Whittle in training next year; they should easily break 40 in the 4x1. No idea what kind of recruiting class they're bringing it, but if recent history means anything it might be a solid one.
