Nebraska's wide receivers coach receives his third DUI. Coaches are in leadership roles. Is it reasonable to think a program would can a guy, rather than suspend him, with 3 DUIs?

It's almost like any behavior is OK. Hopefully none of these DUIs involved serious collisions/accidents.
He only now recognizes it a mistake? Weren't the first two arrest a clue. His drivers license should be permanently revoked because clearly he doesn't get it.

Remember how great Chris Demarest was at his job? If he didn't screw up, he might have been running a major program by now.

Did he have any DUI's too?

Thought it was just his booming voice that did him in.

I believe in NJ the 3rd DUI is mandatory jail time
Correct. Also how can he go on recruiting trips when he will not have a valid license. In Jersey it would be forfeit for ten years. I think he will probably have to go.

this could also be his first DUI in Nebraska. He was at Tulane before Nebraska and Fresno state before that. Each state only counts what happens in their state, right?
(not that it makes any of this better...a 3rd DUI is still a 3rd DUI )

While that could be true, you would get no leniency from DA or judge in this case. regardless, this man cannot be in a position where he is involved with a college football team.
