MD's next coach is obviously a hot topic on sports talk radio (well not as hot as should the Ravens intentionally lose the rest of the season), and it came up that Locksley, who was the interim HC and a star recruiter, is not going to stick around at UMD. Basically it sounds like he's pissed that he didn't get offered the HC job.
For example, I think he recruited Haskins and Haskins said that if Locksley isnt there, he wont be there either (this might not be right - I came in half way through the segment - so if someone has read differently feel free to correct me.)
Anyway - its almost a given that our next HC will have decent recruiting skills and ties to NJ and probably Florida (seems like most of the top contenders do). If we could add Locksley, it would help us extend the SoR into the DMV and hurt out nearest competition (MD and to a lesser extent PSU) as well.
