New 2020 men’s lacrosse commit

we received a 2020 goalie commitment today which is not really news except for the fact that he is from Delbarton which is the top Private HS in N.J. this marks the first time that I can remember that Rutgers has gotten a verbal from Delbarton. If this somehow opens the door to Delbarton for Rutgers this will be a huge sign that Rutgers has turned a corner in recruiting N.J.

I got an opportunity to see him play a couple of times and he is pretty good, big body. This is a good get for Rutgers

Holy crap...when was the last time RU pulled a lax player from Delbarton? Thats huge alone as they're consistently one of the top programs in the state. If RU starts getting the private schools on board, lax is in a real good spot.

Liam Gray he plays for Patriot Summer program and Delbarton Hs in N.J.

Saw him play at a Duke prospect day, big body good hands pretty quick for a big kid.

This is two goalies in a row where the took kids with big frames at the goalie position

I do not think they are on on any of the 2020 BR kids. But, I know that they like the 2021 defenseman who started for them last year and they also like the 2022 kid who willlikely play for them this year.

We got our first moorestown kid in awhile with the 2020 commit from Knoblach and he is good, also have a Ridgewood kid on the team now that is another place that we could use to get some kids from. Would also like to get some kids out of Ridge HS. I think that the 2020 class could be a break through class for Coach Brecht as he has been able to secure commitments from kids from Central Moorestown and Delbarton.

As long as the coach stays the same at BR Rutgers will always have a chance to get the best kids from their

There isn’t a school we’ve gotten more kids from than Bridgewater.

Unless I miss my guess we have about 3 weeks until the season starts. I am super excited about the season but concerned because the schedule is crazy hard

Team will be back on campus and ready to roll on 1/7...by the time we get done opening a few presents, eating too much and watching some bowl games, it will be go time. Should be very interesting...I'm nervous, hopeful, and he excited all in one...just hoping for good health. I'm looking forward to getting back on campus for the opener

Was reading the Inside Lacrosse kick off issue yesterday and couldn't help but get excited for lacrosse season...can't wait!!!

Hey, I just saw that Zach Feagles is leaving the Miami Football team. He was an All State defenseman at Ridgewood a couple of years ago. He could come here and punt for the football team and play lacrosse.
