Criminals and Tacos, the new restaurant opening in place of the now-defunct Barndoore on Easton Avenue, is a sit-down taco shop and bar. Chef Andrew Schiff, who catered for the Emmys and developed 139 flavors of peanut butter, is bringing new Mexican flavors to the city with the opening of the restaurant, which is owned by Morgan Tracey.

I know Barndoore had its fans but I couldn't stand it, and I was furious that it replaced Kings, the best Pizza joint on Easton.

This place looks interesting, but of course REAL Mexican food is only a few blocks away.

Kings management wasnt the brightest. They use to partially sponsor parties for us. Yes i mean we hung up a sign in our house and they gave us money to advertise for them.

Really think students want that kind of mexican food even if it is a few blocks away?

Students are a big part of the clue Burke at downtown's Chipotle. There's also. The recently opened Bucks rips on Watson that does burritos and such.

The owner certainly talks a good game. Good luck to him. Good, cheap food is always welcome near a college campus.

After reading that article this place looks great. My only concern is if the space is big enough. It has a lot of potential.

That article is 2 months old and if it didn't cause an uproar then, then it is dead now...
