New Commit

This kid can be a good piece on a winning team. Good job by Jordan to get this guy.

Welcome aboard. This is a solid pickup. Two more pieces in place towards building a full roster. This guy looks like a shooter that can create his own shot and use his length and long arms to finish.

Class now includes a tough NYC SG and a silky smooth SG/SF.

Kid can shoot, drive, pass & jump. Looks like a player. Welcome Maishe. All the best.

Here's a link to his highlight video from his Junior season:

after watching that I was impressed with his skill level. Good athlete, nice looking shot and runs the floor well. And of course he's long and at 6'5 he adds some size to this team. Good get for Rutgers

He's a lefty and has a nice outside shot. He handles the ball well and it appears he's a very good athlete. He needs to work on his right handed finishes. In college, teams will pick up that he favors his finishes with his left hand even on the right side of the basket. I think he could be a good one. Again, what is the competition he's against and what kind of D has he learned how to play?

This is what one guy said on Twitter:

Dailey has as much upside as almost anyone in Ohio's 2016 class. Skilled scoring wing with great size.
Reminds me of CJ Fair from Syracuse but a better passer . Can only hope he is that type of player because we haven't had a wing player that can shoot and pass like that in a long time. Eddie and his staff has done a good job in these last 2 recruiting classes against difficult conditions. Hope everybody is back and healthy next year and if Eddie can get another big body and a 3 point shooter or scoring 2 guard or a shooting forward, we can get to 500 or better next year.

Which is why I deleted and posted in another thread until you insisted on "quoting" me so quickly. Thanks.
And as soon as it was off deleted my reply.
If you say something don't get upset if you're quoted , remember you're the one that posted it
and how quick you receive a reply after posting your thoughts shouldn't be the question.

You're right, and it was my bad, which is WHY I deleted it. Thank you.

Caliknight, Wisconsin was looking at him. People thought he might go Prep route and maybe give RU a little credit for being aggressive.

Re-watched all of his tape. Dailey is a nice pick up. Has size. Can shoot (perhaps can even snipe), unselfish, moves without the ball, and is athletic. But back to his shot. He can shoot. Glad we got him before his interest picked up/went prep. Just shoot 10000 shots a day before you get here Maishe!!!

I like how quickly he can get his shot off. Doesn't waste any time in his actions. Knows right away what he's doing once he receives the ball. I actually feel he has the best chance compared to our other potential recruits. Seeing his senior tape, seems like he added more passing or made more of a concerted effort to be unselfish. The fact that he understands to add one thing to his game year to year is big. Shows promise in this regard.

The reason Tripp and Dailey are not ranked is because they were not supposed to be part of 2016...and Dailey really blew up recently

I really hope Tripp gets to play this year. He's really missing competitive basketball. Want to see his guard skills develop.

That has nothing to do with whether they are ranked are not. They are not ranked because no one deems them worthy of being ranked, you may disagree with that sentiment but that's the reason. It has nothing to do with what class they are ultimately in. Thon Maker thought seriously of re-classifying to 2015 even though he was a top 5 2016 player, that doesn't stop him from being ranked.

The reason Tripp and Dailey are not ranked is because they were not supposed to be part of 2016...and Dailey really blew up recently
