Found this little nugget in a Todderick piece:

"Ash was impressed by the response he got from players at his first team meeting on Monday morning. He expected to see some players arrive late or act disinterested, but instead everyone arrived early for the 7 a.m. meeting and listened intently.

"All of them were eager to hear what the new head football coach had to say about the vision and the plan for the program moving for," Ash said. "I couldn't be happier with what I saw this morning and the response that I received from the players."

That reaction spoke volumes considering tardiness to meetings was an ongoing issue that wasn't rectified this past season, according to multiple people with knowledge of the situation."

I know being late isn't the end of the world, but more evidence that there was a lack of discipline and accountability. It will be exciting to see if Ash can get everyone on-board and moving in the same direction as the team will be much better off for it.
