I was thinking and some people have almost come out and said it. In a few years, if Rutgers recruiting continues to trend upwards the way it appears to be heading, less New Jersey offers may go out. Today's recruits may be hurting recruits down the line. We are rapidly expanding the State of Rutgers and it is starting to catch on. We get on these New Jersey kids early because we are local and the Coaches hear from a friend of a friend and such. We recruit these kids early they return the attention and sometimes carry us to their final 2 or 3 sometimes picking us more times spurning RU. Now we are starting to hear that an uncommitted recruit with an offer may be missing the boat because of waiting too long to collect offers and see what might be. Hopefully someday we will give an offer and kids will accept it like some do now with the Alabama Ohio State Notre Dame and yes to some extent Penn State offers. Anyway you look at it recruiting is definitely on an uptrend and hopefully will continue in that direction
