News in Rutgers coaches

Let's try to get someone that plans on being here more than a season. We have had, like 8 OC in 8 years.

Not sure if you're serious, but Fridge couldn't cut it in his 2nd year of his contract. He's retired. Also, he doesn't like to recruit. Finally, he's a pro-set guy.

Fridge just wanted to beat Maryland, Fridge is one of best playcallers ever.

Look at the team he took to the Super Bowl with San Diego and the national championship he won at Georgia tech as the OC.

Doesn't matter how he can recruit, he can win with average talent. You'd be so lucky to have him as the OC. He's old and not has healthy, but he can call with the best of them in college and the NFL.

Maybe you haven't seen Fridge lately, he's been 'working out' :
and his mind is still sharper than a Ginzu knife. Probably still not big on hitting the road for recruiting though.

Fridge's health obviously isn't 110%, but that's not why he didn't stick around in year 2.

Nope. You are totally incorrect.
New Jersey, in general, is a lot to ask of an essentially retired person. It doesn't matter why Fridge didn't want to hang around. He did help us and I thank him for that and wish him well.

We just got to find someone who is PROVEN to call a good game and can recruit.
