OK, we are done with the "gauntlet" and did well enough if you are reasonable and understand where this team is right now. So, what is everyone's expectation for the next four games before we get back into the BIG schedule?
If this team can bring the same energy as we saw against the last three games, I think we win three of them to get back on track. What say the rest of you?

I think anything less than 3-1 would be very disappointing, but 4-0 might be a longshot, as two power conference road wins in the OOC would be surprising for RU.

one game at a time, I am worried about Fordham

SHU isnt a must win, so if the team comes out 3-1 thats fine but its a game that we would like to have to show they we are continuing on the up trajectory..sooner is always better. Right now they are home, they have the revenge factor, it will be tough to win there.

Fordham, SHU, Columbia and Maine.

where is the first and second power conf. road game?
Lol... I was referring to the Miami win, followed by a potential SHU win at Prudential Center. In basketball I think we can still call the Big East a power conference, but to each their own.

Team is learning to win, which is not in our recent DNA.

4-0 is possible team is hungry. This team would have eaten up the old A-10 sched. however B1G is another story.

We should go 3-1 or 4-0. Think SHU will be a toss up. Based on what i saw last night and at MSU, i know we can win.

Evaluate this team in rolling 6-8 game intervals. Need to smooth out ups and downs. Smooths out good and bad shooting on both sides

At then end of the day if we finish and kenpom says we are top 75 we have something.

3-1 puts us at what I think would have been the default preseason prediction of many of us at 8-4. If we can go 4-0, it would be great for fan excitement and team confidence. Cannot lose any games we’re favored in.

3:1. Fine with that. 4 and 0 is very possible, though. Seton Hall with their new pg emergence is going to be harder that I had initially thought. Still think RU wins by 5-7.

SH game is unpredictable. SH was the better team last year, but Rutgers still won. They'll be looking for revenge this year. I'm hoping Rutgers wins and I'll be disappointed with a loss, but a loss wouldn't cause me to lessen my praise for this team.

Fordham is a game that we should win, but it has trap game written over it. It is our first game after the gauntlet, it is at Fordham (why?), and it is a game that Fordham will have circled, as their only high-major game this season.

We shouldn't have any problems with Maine or Columbia, and if we do, that is really on the coaching staff for not prepping the team.

Over the next 4 games, I think 4-0 is possible, and I wouldn't be surprised to go 4-0. I think 3-1 is slightly more likely. 2-2 would be disappointing.

This team is good enough to go 4-0 here if they bring it every night. We could stumble and lose to SHU but we should be expecting 4-0. SHU isn't better than us this year

1 game at a time. We have played to our competition the last 2 games, good for that but can't fall into that habit this next stretch - need to remember our first 2 games (seems like ages ago) and step on the neck. 80-90 pts would be nice in bronx, CU & maine

Seton Hall should be the only close game if we play to our abilities. Columbia 1-5 Maine 0-8 Fordham 6-1-- only good win FIU.

Fordham will be juiced to play RU

The intensity will be ramped up at SHU to another level.

Maine and Columbia are gimmees

Thats great and all for them. They lost to Houston Baptist and are neck and neck with Maine rn 56 all with 4 minutes left.(in ot)

We shouldnt lose this game nor do i believe we will.

We need to only worry about Fordham. Just remember what happened last year when we lost to Stony Brook and Hartford during the holiday season. we also struggled with Boston University the day after Thanksgiving. We should not be taking any games as a win just looking at the schedule.

As players yes of course they should take this approach. As fans on a message board looking ahead has no impact on the team's play and we can and should be expecting wins against these lesser teams
